The Miracle Of Life
Life is a miracle you know;
Our minds can't comprehend
What God has planned for each of us
Or when our time will end.
We travel to and fro each day
While trying to survive.
We tell our children God is great
And Jesus was alive.
We ask ourselves the question
When we have time to rest,
What is humanity about
And what is our major quest.
We have our family history
That goes back through the years.
We know the names of all of them
And how they conquered fears.
We only have a short time
To spend upon this earth.
We want to make the best of it
And live for all its worth.
I guess we're not to understand
Until our time has come,
The mysteries of human life
And why it ends for some.
We pray to God for all we need
And keep faith in times of strife.
We thank him for the perfect gift,
The miracle of life.
